We collect information you provide directly, including account details (such as phone number and Sign in with Apple identifiers), profile information (such as name, age, gender, bio, interests, and location), content you upload (such as profile photos and media shared in chat), and safety reports you submit. If you choose to use camera, photo upload, microphone, or location features, we process the related media and permission-based data needed to provide those features. We also collect device and app data such as IP address, device identifiers, language settings, diagnostics, and feature usage. If you subscribe, we receive subscription and transaction metadata from payment providers (such as Apple and RevenueCat), but we do not receive your full payment card details.
We use your information to create and secure your account, verify access (including OTP and Apple sign-in flows), show and rank potential matches, provide messaging features (including photo and voice messages), process or validate subscriptions, provide support, detect fraud and abuse, enforce community rules, and improve app performance and reliability. We may also use limited data to personalize in-app experiences.
We share data with: (1) other users, for profile and chat features according to your visibility and interactions; (2) service providers that help us operate the app (for example cloud hosting, communications/OTP delivery, mapping/location search, customer support, and payment/subscription processing such as Apple and RevenueCat); and (3) authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the platform. We do not sell personal data.
With your permission, we collect location data to help show nearby profiles and improve matching relevance. You can provide location by device services or manual location input. We do not require continuous background location for core app use. You can turn location access off in device settings at any time, but some features may not work properly without location data.
On web and in-app browsers, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, and measure performance. You can manage cookie choices in browser settings.
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we take steps to delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, billing, security, or enforcement purposes.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data. You can update much of your profile in-app and can request account deletion in Settings. For other privacy requests, contact us and we will review and respond according to applicable law.
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, but no system is completely secure. Use a strong passcode on your device and keep your account credentials private.
Ginger is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor is using the service, please notify us.
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We use appropriate safeguards when transferring data internationally where required by law.
Ginger is a matchmaking and social discovery platform that helps users connect in a safe, respectful, and responsible environment. Ginger is not a hookup app or a provider of short-term relationship services, and does not offer any guarantee or encouragement to form romantic relationships, in-person meetings, or marriage. Users are solely responsible for how they interact with one another.
All users agree to use Ginger services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any use of the service for illegal or criminal purposes, harassment, abuse, fraud, extortion, publishing unlawful content, or violating the rights of others is prohibited.
Users must provide accurate and truthful information. Ginger may verify user identity when necessary and may suspend or block accounts that provide false information.
Users agree to: interact respectfully with other users; refrain from sending insulting or threatening messages; not publish images or content that violates laws; not share others' private information without consent; and not create fake accounts.
Users may report inappropriate behavior or violations through the in-app reporting tool. Ginger may restrict or remove offending accounts without prior notice if a violation is identified.
Ginger provides only a platform for introductions and is not responsible for users' decisions, agreements, meetings, or interactions outside the platform. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of other users' information and following safety precautions in any communication.
User information is stored and processed in accordance with Ginger's Privacy Policy and will only be shared with third parties when required by law or with user consent.
Ginger may temporarily or permanently suspend or delete accounts in case of violation of these terms, illegal use of the service, or creating risk for other users.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

کاربران موظفاند اطلاعات صحیح و واقعی ارائه دهند. جینجر میتواند در صورت نیاز نسبت به احراز هویت کاربران اقدام کند و در صورت ارائه اطلاعات نادرست، حساب کاربری را تعلیق یا مسدود نماید.
کاربران متعهد میشوند: با احترام با سایر کاربران تعامل داشته باشند؛ از ارسال پیامهای توهینآمیز یا تهدیدآمیز خودداری کنند؛ تصاویر یا محتوای خلاف قوانین منتشر نکنند؛ اطلاعات خصوصی دیگران را بدون رضایت منتشر نکنند؛ و از ایجاد حساب کاربری جعلی خودداری کنند.
کاربران میتوانند هرگونه رفتار نامناسب یا تخلف را از طریق ابزار گزارش داخل برنامه اعلام کنند. جینجر حق دارد در صورت مشاهده تخلف، بدون اخطار قبلی حساب کاربری متخلف را محدود یا حذف کند.
جینجر صرفاً بستری برای معرفی و آشنایی کاربران فراهم میکند و مسئول تصمیمات، توافقها، ملاقاتها یا تعاملات خارج از پلتفرم نیست. کاربران مسئول ارزیابی صحت اطلاعات طرف مقابل و رعایت نکات ایمنی در هرگونه ارتباط هستند.
اطلاعات کاربران مطابق سیاست حفظ حریم خصوصی جینجر نگهداری و پردازش میشود و تنها در مواردی که قانون الزام کند یا با رضایت کاربر، در اختیار اشخاص ثالث قرار خواهد گرفت.
جینجر میتواند در صورت نقض این شرایط، استفاده غیرقانونی از سرویس یا ایجاد خطر برای سایر کاربران، حساب کاربری را بهطور موقت یا دائم تعلیق یا حذف کند.
ممکن است گهگاه این سیاست را بازنگری کنیم. تغییرات مهم را از طریق اپ یا راههای معقول دیگر اطلاعرسانی میکنیم. ادامه استفاده پس از اعمال تغییرات به معنی پذیرش سیاست جدید است.
